1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is ready to show her new weight-loss transformation to fans in person for the first time since getting her extra skin removed. Tammy once weighed more than 700 pounds, but now has become less than half her size. It took a near-death experience for Tammy to reconsider her life choices, which included getting rid of toxic habits and friends. Tammy underwent bariatric surgery and lost 500 pounds in two years. In 1000-Lb Sisters season 7, Tammy finally completed the final step of her makeover.
Tammy has been making big moves after her successful weight-loss surgery, and she’s just announced her next big gig.
“Amanda and myself will be there,” Tammy wrote as the caption of her new Instagram post. Tammy is going to be a part of the Fat Boy App’s 2nd Annual Poker Run. The benefit poker run takes place on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Registrations for the event have already begun, with the organizers charging a $25 entry for the event. The location mentioned reads, “Fat Boy App Office, 66 W. Railroads St, Clay, KY 42404,” with the prizes being offered for best and worst hand. Fans can also participate in raffles, door prizes, and visit the food trucks.
