1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has confirmed her sexuality amid dating rumours in a brand-new interview.

Speaking on the Creative Chaos podcast by the Ezell Film Company in a video uploaded on Tuesday (19 August), the reality TV star opened up about a whole host of topics, including her brand-new teeth, her weight loss journey as well as her relationship status.

Now, any die-hard Tammy fans out there will no doubt already know that she opened up about her engagement on her last appearance on the podcast back in June, but it’s clear viewers were itching for the latest update on the matter and for more deets on who her future life partner is.

“You know, another thing that I think is real crazy is that you and I literally took promo photos,” the host said during the interview, “and they were like, ‘Tammy stuns with new Boo’. That new ‘Boo’? Me!

“Honey, I’m married!”

“And I’m gay!” Tammy interjected, before the host replied: “Literally! So, literally, what happened there?”

Tammy replied: “I can’t take a picture with a friend.”

She then went on to open up about her fiancée, whose name is Andrea Dalton who she met on a dating app.

“How is she?” the host asked.

“She’s good!” Tammy replied with a smile.

She also quashed a bizarre internet rumour that Andrea was ‘in a coma for four days and dying’, explaining how a picture of Andrea in hospital for some tests ‘smiling and doing the peace sign’ snowballed into misinformation.

During June’s episode on the show, the TLC star wore a silver necklace with the name ‘Andrea’ as she revealed what she and her fiancée get up to together.

“Me and my fiancée we kind of just chill at home,” she shared.

“Like, we go to Walmart and just walk around or Roses, somewhere like that, not to buy just to walk around, get some exercise, something to do.”

Back in April, during the season seven premiere of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy confirmed that she was dating someone new, who was later revealed to be Andrea.

Audiences saw glimpses of the pair’s budding romance throughout the season, including their first public date at a bowling alley.

In a confessional, Tammy said she had ‘feelings’ for Andrea and noted that they were ‘taking things slow, day by day’.

She then waited a ‘couple of months’ to tell her family about her relationship due to being unsure about how they’d ‘react’ to her dating a woman because they have a lot of ‘opinions’.

“I think I want to approach this relationship different than I have in the past, so I haven’t told my family because my family’s gonna have something to say about it,” she said.

Fortunately, the family seemed supportive, with Tammy’s older sister Amanda Halterman saying on the show: “If she makes you happy … that’s all we want for each other is just to be happy. That’s all.

“But I don’t want none of us to stop looking for it. Don’t just settle. Don’t stop until you find exactly what you’re looking for.”

Tammy’s other older sister, Misty Wentworth, added: “It don’t matter to me.”

“If Andrea genuinely cares for Tammy and makes her happy, then I’ll be happy with her,” Tammy’s mother, Darlene Slaton, commented.

The 1000-lb Sisters star, who has lost over 500 pounds since beginning her health journey, recently responded to a comment on TikTok that questioned her decision to drink fizzy pop, which she calls ‘sodies’, following bariatric surgery.

Tammy underwent bariatric surgery in 2022 and has been open about her experience ever since. At her heaviest, she weighed over 700 pounds, but as of earlier this year, she revealed she now weighs 238 pounds.

In addition to her weight loss, Tammy also underwent skin removal surgery this year, having over 15 pounds of excess skin removed from her chin, arms, and stomach.

“I was really nervous for the skin removal surgery because I was really just kind of afraid of how I’m gonna feel looking at myself without the belly there,” she admitted in an interview with PEOPLE.

“I was even more nervous about having skin removal surgery than I was for the [sleeve gastrectomy] surgery because they’re actually cutting the whole belly!”

The 39-year-old reality TV favourite addressed the fans’ concerns after a user pointed out that fizzy drinks are packed with sugar, and Tammy didn’t shy away from responding.

“Everybody is different. I’m not supposed to drink the sodies as much, and that was Sprite,” she said. “Well, sorry! So, you’re right. You’re right.”

While she acknowledged the concern, Tammy was clear that she still allows herself soft drinks, just in moderation.

“I drink a lot of water and I drink a lot of sodies, but I’m still three, four years post-op,” she said, referring to her 2022 weight loss surgery.

“So everything I’m doing is not fine, but it’s OK because I’m still continuing on my diet. I’m still continuing to lose weight and I’m still hitting goals.”

Fans of the TLC series will remember Tammy’s love for fizzy drinks. In a 2020 episode, both Tammy and her sister Amy admitted they didn’t drink water, only soda.

At the time, Tammy confessed to drinking up to 12 cans of soda a day. However, she’s since scaled back; in a now-deleted TikTok, she claimed she now only drinks two or fewer cans a day, according to PEOPLE.

And ever since Tammy’s transformation, the TV star has been living nothing short of her best life, including taking part in podcast and event appearances.

Yesterday, creators Hunter and Logan Ezell revealed that Tammy would be appearing on the Creative Chaos podcast next Tuesday (19 August).

They announced the exciting news alongside a series of new professional pictures of the host posing alongside the reality star.

In the snaps, Tammy looks incredibly in a black and white striped dress, paired with a blue denim jacket and some funky orange sunglasses.

However, as well as her dramatic weight loss, there was one new feature that eagle-eyed fans think they noticed a change in – Tammy’s teeth.

She has always expressed an interest in cosmetic dental procedures and has faced cruel comments from trolls in the past about it.

Last January, she posted a video on TikTok addressing the nasty hate, telling one troll in particular: “With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this. It’s not helping my confidence. I was trying to keep my confidence boosted and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.”

She explained getting her teeth fixed can be expensive and although she has money, she can’t save up for it right now.

Tammy said: “I had to calm myself down before I replied because I really wanted to go off on you. I really wanted to tell you if you had a true problem with my teeth then pay for them yourself. But I don’t want to be that person. I don’t want to be rude.”

And while, of course, Tammy does not need anything done to her teeth, fans are happy that if it’s what she wanted to do, she’s been able to save up the cash for it.
