The Farmer Wants a Wife star and contestant Claire Dirette have broken up nearly a year after finding love on season three of the Fox reality dating series, according to multiple outlets.
“I would like to share that Claire and I ended our relationship shortly after Lollapalooza, over a week ago,” Sansone wrote in a since-deleted Aug. 16 Instagram post, according to Parade. “This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts.”
“While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it’s best to move forward separately,” the St. Louis native continued. “While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible.”
Sansone concluded his announcement with, “Thank you for your kindness and support.”
Dirette seemingly confirmed the split but posting a TikTok video the day after in which she mouthed a quote from Kylie Jenner on Keeping Up With the Kardashians where the makeup mogul said, “Dude, I’m getting my personality back though. Like, I’m feeling like myself again.”
She posted a second TikTok with audio from BoJack Horseman that said, “Sometimes, life’s a bitch and then you keep living,” along with the caption “life goes on.”
Dirette won over Sansone during Farmer Wants a Wife‘s most recent season and was his last lady standing when the season finale aired earlier this year.

You have just a calming presence,” he told Dirette during the May 22 episode. “It really makes me feel happy, calm, and I really enjoy just having you around. I think we can both agree that farm work isn’t your forte, but that’s okay, because that doesn’t even matter.”
“You’ve surprised me every single day,” he added, “and you continue to surprise me now.”
