Finally.. Miranda “Unmasks” Chase and Her Friends in a Jaw-Dropping Confession!

It’s been a whirlwind month for #MomTok – the group of Mormon influencers who found global fame on their hit Disney+ series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

If an active domestic violence investigation and Jessi Draper’s explosive interview with Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy weren’t enough to contend with, now there is new drama between Jessi Draper and Miranda McWhorter. And we have to be honest, we didn’t see it coming.

Earlier this month, Jessi alleges that she finally ended her relationship with her husband Jordan Ngatikaura after years of toxicity and unhappiness.

However, Jordan is the one who filed for divorce, the day before she appeared on Call Her Daddy. Jessi claims that she found out her husband had filed via TMZ and that they hadn’t told their children yet. Jordan did not respond to Grazia’s request for comment.

Seeing as Jessi has been officially single for less than three weeks, we did not expect more drama to come her way. However, on 26 March her friend and co-star Miranda posted a video with the caption ‘GRWM [get ready with me] while I process my friend group being a waiting room for my ex husband’.

She then shared a picture of a bouquet of flowers and a note that reads, ‘I completely understand you being upset with me, but I wanted to send you a little something to let you know I’m thinking about you and I am so, so sorry. Jessi.’

What happened between Jessi Draper and Chase McWhorter?

It turns out, after putting two and two together, that Jessi kissed Miranda’s ex-husband Chase McWhorter. Incidentally, Chase has also allegedly had flings with fellow Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast members, Layla Taylor, Taylor Frankie Paul and Shinia Powell.

‘Unfortunately, I am familiar with this territory,’ Miranda said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. ‘I knew there had been communication between chase and Jessi but not to what extent.

Then Chase was upfront and told me that they were talking and that they kissed. Jessi reached out only after she knew Chase had told me something was going on with them.

And today, at the same time a rumour started spreading online that something was going on with Chase and Jessi, I received apology flowers from Jessi.

‘What I never want to get misconstrued is that there is not any emotional attachment to Chase. He is my co-parent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend. Chase and I are no longer partners and while I have high expectations of him as a co-parent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code.

‘With everything going on and all the chaos, I am just focusing on my kids. As unfortunate as the film break is and then also this betrayal I’m going to try and focus on my kids and reground myself. I am processing it and moving forward.’

From what we can see on social media, it looks like Jessi and Chase have been spending more time together lately, with Chase taking part in TikToks to promote Jessi’s hairline JZ Styles.

In one video from mid March, Chase says, ‘I’ve heard your friend’s ex-husband is really hot’ to which Jessi responds, ‘But you’re my friend’s ex-husband.’ She captioned the post with a side eye emoji. Fans have quickly flooded the comment section to joke ‘well, this has aged well’.

What has Jessi said about the Chase kiss?

Other than the flowers to Miranda, which we can assume are an admission of guilt, Jessi has not publicly commented on the Chase scandal and is posting on social media as usual. And although they’re not filming at the moment, the rest of MomTok have plenty to say.

Under Miranda’s TikTok, Mayci Neeley wrote, ‘I have no words.’ Jen Affleck wrote, ‘Miranda as the next bachelorette!!’ to which Miranda replied, ‘Hahaha not sure I’m cut out for that, but ily.’ And Jordan reshared the post.

What does Jordan Ngatikaura think?

Unsurprisingly, Jordan could not help but comment on the situation too. Under Miranda’s post he wrote, ‘Looks like she can’t even be faithful or loyal even in a friendship… too bad.’ Chase then replied to his comment: ‘Back to LinkedIn u go.’ However, both comments have since been deleted.
