Sharing his personal struggles with focus, impulsivity, and emotional regulation, Asher has inspired fans and colleagues alike, reminding everyone that prioritizing self-care is crucial for long-term success. Let’s see how this chapter unfolds

General Hospital Star Maurice Benard - State of Mind - YouTube

Maurice Benard, (Sonny Corinthos) told his General Hospital fans on social media on March 14, that he scheduled a session on his State of Mind podcast with Asher Antonyzyn, (Danny Morgan). The episode dropped on Sunday, March 16, and the two ABC stars talked about Asher’s Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, (ADHD).

Asher Is Still Young

Asher, who took over the role of Danny Morgan in 2023, is the stage son of Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton.) On YouTube, when the podcast dropped, Maurice Benard told his viewers that he loves Asher, 16, but most of all he loves that he’s such “a good actor.”

Unlike Finn Carr, (Rocco Falconeri) who was open about depression and anxiety, Asher didn’t feel that his ADHD was debilitating. However, he did say to Maurice Benard that he takes “medication,” as it particularly helps him with “schoolwork.”

Friends Notice When He Stops Taking Meds

The real-life Danny Morgan explained that if he stops taking his medication, his “friends” notice immediately. So, he is aware that he changes without treatment. Next, he explained how he couldn’t “be myself” without taking those meds. But, sometimes on weekends, he stops taking them.
